Membership - Join
the Parrot Club of Manitoba
Many people in the
club have parrots (a parrot is any bird with a hooked beak and zygodactyl
toes (the middle two toes point forward and the outside two toes point
back), so it includes budgies and cockatiels too), but you don't need
one to be a member.
If you are considering adopting a parrot into your family, please come
to a meeting as our guest. Our members have a wealth of experience to
share!
The Parrot Club of Manitoba meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Friday of
every month, except for December (Christmas Party) and June (annual BBQ),
at St. Alphonsus Hall 341 Munroe Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Membership fees are $40.00 CDN per year for a Single Family Membership
or $45.00 CDN per year for a Double Family Membership, and includes a
subscription to our monthly newsletter The Parrot
Post (click the link to see a previous edition of the Parrot Post).
Our club also has an extensive library of books and videos about Parrots,
which is available exclusively to members.
Please join us! Just print the attached membership
application form and mail to the address indicated, or contact
us.
